First of all: Everyone who wants to see how I do traditonal animation, I highly recommend to watch THIS SPEEDPAINT
I know this is no masterpiece but I'm still in awe about how nicely this came out!
I'm re-reading all 3 parts of Eragon at the moment so I'm a little bit dragon-crazed So, and with the urge to animate something winged again, I made this <3
Bwah, drawing and sketching all of the frames took me way too long. You can't imagine how long it took to get everything exactly right!! The wings' movements, the poses, perspective D: All in all there are 44 individual drawings + 2 BG's.
I used watercolours for the bg's and wings and marker for the dragon's scales. All in all it took me about.... 6 hours +2 hours of rendering and posing in Photoshop.
Again, before asking me how I do this, WATCH THE SPEEDPAINT ;D
Also, I'd like to thank the awesome animator who is the one who always urges me to animate some dragons HAPPY NOW? Here's an awesome animation by him: [link]
PS: should I make this into a stamp saying "I love animation" or anything?? Just wondering
