YAY I got this done!! I started this animation about 3 weeks ago in a Flash tutorial in our university, then put it aside because I was overloaded with new projects and now finally finished it!

The sketching of this animation took surprisingly few time. I got almost all the movements right what surprised me a lot. But inking the frames was really hard, especially the flowy mane and tail x.x

But I am super proud of the result! :happybounce:


Here are the steps of how I did it:
1) Sketching in Adobe Flash
2) Inking the frames
3) Fill-in colours
4) Paint background in Photoshop
5) Add the lantern
6) Paint the glow effects in Photoshop
7) Overlay the glow layers in Flash

I even tried to work with After Effects a bit but I gave up. I just love Flash too much and the combination of Flash and PS kicks ass.

A-FREAKING-MAZING. I love it's little hands and back paws! :heart: The tail is so flourishy and wavy, you did such an awesome job keeping everything smooth. :'D I am LOVING that perspective. So badass, he's like "Yeah. I can fly into a camera WHENEVER I want. Bitch please."
Everything just moves so perfectly well, like, each move totally works along with the other 8O Ohhhhh and dat fire. That was such an awesome touch, it really makes the animation feel alive 8D He looks untamable, such a majestic creature! Sorry it took me forever to comment by the way 8O My inbox is uber full xD
